1.Introduction
The metal steel coil cut to length line can do uncoiling, straightening, gauging, cross-cutting to length and stacking work. It mainly includes uncoiler, straightener, gauge, shearer, conveyor,stacker, hydraulic system, pneumatic system and electrical system, etc. The line can make sure of accurate feeding and shearing. It can be widely used in cold or hot rolled carbon steel, tinplate, stainless steel and all e other kinds of metal materials with surface coating. The cut to length line is controlled by PLC system. The information of length, shearing numbers and speed can be input to the PLC systems via HMI(Human Machine Interface) touch screen. When the needed shearing quantity is reached the line can stop automatically.
2.Process
Our high speed metal coils cut to length line is a popular method of creating flat, rectangular blanks from larger metal coils. Also known as CTL Line, our machine will uncoil the larger material or master coil, straighten or flatten it, and then cut it to the required length as it moves through the line, and ultimately stack it into a bundle. Steel does not come off of a larger coil in a flat form. It needs to be stretched into flatness while on the CTL. Our machine uses roller leveling technology to stretch and compress the material. This method increases flatness tolerance and material stability. The ultimate use of the cut material may warrant precision cutting accuracy that meets your exact specifications.
